Cody Rech Teaching Philosophy

My name is Cody Rech, and I was blessed to be able to play at the Division 1 level as a catcher at Western Carolina University.

I spent my travel ball years growing up and playing in the Jackets organization, and am so blessed to give back to the program that gave me everything I ever dreamed of. I have been coaching ever since my playing days came to an end. I was a catcher and middle infielder my whole life, so catching, hitting, and infield are my specialties.

My coaching approach is laid-back and encouraging while getting max effort out of every player. I like to think of myself as a motivator in many ways, beyond just baseball. My goal as a coach is to make a positive impact on every player’s life.
