My philosophy on hitting and defense are very similar. Getting your body in the best athletic position to make the play or take your best swing is imperative. Doing this allows you to be adjustable and athletic to react and deal with the challenges of the game. Which in turn, makes you a better player ready to battle any adversity thrown your way.

 

Baseball is a game of failure, so getting your body in the best position to attack and make the aggressive mistake is the way I played and want the kids I work with to play as well.
