Auterson Baseball/Georgia Jackets Events Safety Restrictions and Information

  1. We won’t have team huddle chants with hands in and instead will just circle up and chant with no hands in. Again proper distancing will be followed.
  2. When someone hits a home run, hits an RBI or anything where the team would normally come out to high five the player, refrain from this and have the team players chant or yell "great job".
  3. Equipment - NO sharing of bats, gloves, helmets, and/or catcher's equipment or water bottles.
  4. Remind the kids to not touch their face during practice and until they can wash their hands after the game or practices. Please bring hand sanitizer with you if possible.
  5. Refrain from community snack food or anything that requires hand-to-mouth contact or spitting, such as gum, peanuts, and sunflower seeds during recreation activities.
  6. Person-to-person contact is nearly unavoidable during recreation activities. If you or your children feel sick, please stay home. Participation in after-game acknowledgement activities or other non-essential contact, such as a player high-five, should be substituted for alternative acknowledgments such as elbow bumps. These acknowledgements should be considered by all participants (players, coaches, and parents) as an optional activity and can be made at the discretion of the parents and players.

To help in our efforts, we ask for your cooperation in a few areas:

  1. Please refrain from coming to camp or tryouts or if you experience any cold or flu-like symptoms.
  2. Be diligent about your players health and personal hygiene.
  3. If you have been in direct contact with someone who tested presumptive positive, please follow the CDC guidelines and refrain from bringing yourself, family or players to team activities until the designated time period has passed.
